Pastor Lisa Fields
Pastor Lisa has a passion to see people come to the full knowledge of who they are in Christ, then to teach them how to use the gifts operating in their lives to their God given potential. Pastor Lisa has worked in the penal correctional facility at one time and was troubled by the fact that the age of the people coming in the corrections was younger and younger as time passed on. The thought came to mind, “What is happening that is causing this phenomenon? The focus to create an environment where our youth can feel they belong and to create an intervention center to catch the at risk youth in the beginning stages of their delinquencies to advert the institutionalization became essential. The tools to be utilized to address this crisis are through mentorship discipleship, entrepreneurship training, financial literacy, tutoring, and life skills, with a long term goal to offer GED classes. The Artist
She recorded her first cd, Rays of Hope, to financially support her youth outreach ministry. Every since Lisa was a little girl she had a love for music and singing. At the age of 15, while watching a 13 year old boy singing Gospel music on television, she was deeply moved to tears and inspired to pray that God would allow her to sing professionally for Him. She sung in bands around Baltimore and Germany (while in the military).
The Artist
Never forgetting her desire to sing for the Lord, she continued to sing on several choirs and directed many for churches she attended. In her twenties, she was drawn to praise and worship. God started teaching her the importance of true praise and worship. Her prayer later changed to, "Lord, teach me true praise and worship that I may teach others." This desire made her listen to various gospel artists that sang praise and worship. Her biggest musical influence became Fred Hammond.
